Shakespeare in Song : Taylor Wilson sings the Bard, 3rd November 2023

A rich programme of songs, from Purcell to Dankworth, journeys through the revered words and lyrics of The Bard.

Ranging from Baroque to Jazz, they create the context for international performer and recording artist, Taylor Wilson, to showcase her impressively versatile mezzo-soprano voice.

International pianist, Neil Metcalfe, and Clea Friend, on cello, provide the accompaniment.

The show was a sell-out at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Taylor is delighted to be invited by Clea Friend, organiser of the Stockbridge Hub, to perform as part of these Friday Concerts.
